Lentil Soup Recipe


  • 100 gm green moong dal
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small cup Palak
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garlic ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lime juice


  • Add 5 cups of water to the green moong dal, Palak, onion and cook in a pressure cooker.
  • Heat ½ tsp oil in a pan and add garlic, ginger, onion saute for a minute.
  • Add the prepared dal stock and bring to boil.
  • Simmer for 3 minutes and add salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for 1-2 mins and garnish with coriander
