Benefits of Cinnamon

Cinnamon has anti bacterial, anti microbial, antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties.

It is good source of fiber that gives approximately 1.6 gms of fiber from 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, hence it helps in feeling of fullness at meals. But it is said to have positive results with healthy eating and physical activity.

Cinnamon can be used as substitute for sugar or salt as it has pleasant flavour.

Approximately 1/2 to 1 tsp of cinnamon powder can be consumed per day, also varies from person to person.

Excess of cinnamon powder leads to low blood sugar levels, cause liver damage, abdominal bloating, mouth sourness.

If you are a healthy individual, it’s fine to consume in moderation.
